In a world that often feels fast, stressful, and uncertain, sometimes what people need most is not another complicated solution, but something simple—a warm hug.

This idea became the starting point of Bobbycub, an original IP created by Virtue.

Bobbycub is more than a cute bear character. It represents warmth, companionship, and the simple belief that everyone deserves to feel understood. Through our watch designs, we are turning this emotional concept into something people can carry and wear every day.

The Story Behind Bobbycub

Bobbycub comes from a fictional place called the “Warm Forest,” a world where warmth is collected and shared with those who need it.

The characters are not perfect superheroes. They can be clumsy, emotional, shy, or even a little silly. But that is exactly what makes them relatable.

When someone feels tired, lonely, frustrated, or insecure, Bobbycub appears with the simplest message:

“You don't need to be better. Get a hug first.”

This philosophy became the emotional core of the entire IP.

Our two main characters, Bobby and Cubby, each have their own personality.

Bobby is gentle, warm, and slightly shy. He may not always say what he is thinking, but he quietly stays close to the people he cares about.

Cubby is energetic and affectionate. She naturally brings a little more fun and playfulness into the Warm Forest.

Together, they create a small world built around companionship, warmth, and emotional connection.

Why We Put Bobbycub on Watches

For Virtue, watches have always been more than functional timekeeping products.

A watch is something people wear every day. It becomes part of their personal style, their memories, and sometimes even their identity.

That makes the watch an ideal carrier for an IP character.

Instead of simply printing a cartoon image on a watch dial, we wanted Bobbycub to become part of the product experience.

We began exploring different ways to integrate the characters into watch designs—from children's watches and colorful cartoon dials to decorative watches, digital watches, accessories, and customized watch faces.

The result is a collection of products that combine fashion, functionality, character design, and emotional storytelling.
